A soft cotton-rope laundry basket that holds 60 liters of stuff, then squashes flat when you need the floor back.

Looks like a giant woven tote. The cotton rope sides give it a relaxed, homey feel and it stands up on its own so you can pile clothes in without it flopping over. Reinforced handles make it easier to lug to the washer. It collapses flat for tight closets and is machine washable if it gets gross. Big enough for about 3 to 5 thick blankets, or a week of clothes, toys, or whatever you dump in it.
